OUR STORY

At 776 BC Loukoumades, we’re a family-owned and operated business specialising in traditional Greek donuts (loukoumades). Founded by father-daughter duo Nick and Jana, we share a passion for cooking and a deep love for our Greek Cypriot heritage.

Nick grew up in Cyprus, learning the art of cooking from his mother and yiayia (Greek for grandmother). When he moved to Australia, he brought these culinary skills with him, raising his family here.

Jana inherited her family’s love for cooking and passion for Greek Cypriot food. She spent her childhood helping in the kitchen and learning the recipes passed down through the generations—recipes that would eventually form the heart of 776 BC Loukoumades.

In 2023, Nick and Jana decided to turn their passion for cooking into a business, and 776 BC Loukoumades was born. After months of trial and error, they finally perfected the recipe.

Today, 776 BC Loukoumades proudly serves loyal customers across Victoria, continuing the tradition of Greek Cypriot cooking passed down through our family for generations.
